Helen F. Lindner Scholarship
The applicant must be male graduating senior from any high school located within the boundary of Henderson County. The successful male applicant will be a student who may not have excelled academically but who has shown promise academically and who indicates a willing spirit to work. The applicant should be someone who has shown diligence above average but who may not have academically achieved above average.
Helga Nielsen Scholarship
Preference is given to applicant(s) who have received a two-year degree from Blue Ridge Community College and plan to continue his or her education at a four-year accredited institution and/or be a graduating senior of any Henderson County High School. Applicant does not have to be a scholastically high achiever or deeply involved in school activities but rather one who strives to do his or her best and who demonstrates financial need.
Henderson County Educational Scholarship
This scholarship is to provide financial assistance to graduates of any Henderson County public high school.
Hendersonville Woman's Club Scholarship
The scholarship is to be awarded to a student who has financial need; is a Henderson County resident and graduate of a Henderson County school; plans to attend a four-year accredited school in North Carolina; is of good moral character; and has an acceptable grade point average.
Hilary G. Neighbors Scholarship (GENERAL)
Applicant must graduate from a Henderson County public school and must be a native of Henderson County. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need and must make the highest grades as determined by Community Foundation of Henderson County.
Hilary G. Neighbors Scholarship (MEDICAL)
Applicant must graduate from a Henderson County public school and must be a native of Henderson County. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need, be on track for a medically related degree, and must make the highest grades as determined by Community Foundation of Henderson County.
James P. Grey Scholarship
The applicant must demonstrate reasonable need; must demonstrate the capacity for pursuing the advanced education; must be a resident of Henderson County; must have attended public schools in Henderson County beginning no later than the fourth grammar grade continuing through high school; and must graduate from a public high school in Henderson County.
James Smith Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be pursuing a higher education in either engineering or Christian education at an accredited college, university, community college or technical school.
Jan F. and Harry J. Nolan Women’s Educational Scholarship
Applicant must be a female resident of the Henderson County area who wishes to pursue a college education. Applicant must be twenty-two years of age or older.
Jane and Tom Davis Scholarship
The applicant must be a graduating senior or graduate of a Henderson County public school and demonstrate financial need. The student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better who is seeking an education beyond high school.
