Established in 1990, the Fletcher Community Fund is a component fund of Community Foundation of Henderson County that was created to provide cultural, educational, historic and civic enrichment for the Town of Fletcher in Henderson County.
Grants are recommended by an advisory committee of Fletcher residents. Grants are generally considered for specific projects and not ongoing organizational support. For 2024, the committee requests grant proposals for projects that celebrate Fletcher’s unique character, history, and culture.
For 2024 Fletcher Community Grants:
- Should not exceed a request of $15,000 unless previously approved by the Program Officer.
- Should be specific to or about the community of Fletcher as defined by town limits.
Project costs can include staff expenses if the staff position(s) are instrumental to the success of a project, but these expenses should not make up the majority of the project budget.
The Advisors to the Fletcher Community Fund recognize that certain types of programming (i.e. events, classes, festivals, art exhibits, etc.) may also benefit community members outside of Fletcher. It is the Advisors preference that Fletcher remain the topic and host of any project/initiative proposed.
Deadline of October 1.
Please contact Program Officer, Kris Merritt for more information about nonprofit funding.
